"Registration is not currently available."
This message appears whenever the program isn't currently open to new registrations — it hasn't opened yet, it's already closed, or every spot is full. The page doesn't currently spell out which of these it is, so if you're not sure why, contact the club directly and ask when registration opens (or whether a waitlist exists).
If the program happens to be full, you may also see "This program is full." right next to this message, sometimes with no space between the two sentences — that's a known display issue, not a sign that something's broken on your end.
"[Practice time] is full" or "Please choose a practice time"
For a program that runs at more than one time, each time has its own limit separate from the program's overall cap — one time can fill while others still have room. "Please choose a practice time" means the form was submitted without a selection; go back to the Choose a Practice Time step and pick one. "[Time] is full" means the time you picked filled up — usually because someone else was registering for it at the same moment — go back and pick a different one, or contact the club if none has room. Nothing is charged and no registration is created when either of these appears.
"This athlete is already registered for this program."
Someone matching this athlete's name (and email, phone, or date of birth) already has an active registration for this program. If that's not actually the same person — say, two different kids who happen to share a name — contact the club directly; they can confirm and register the second athlete for you if needed.
You may also see a softer, non-blocking note like "An athlete named [name] is already registered for this program — continue only if this is a different person." while filling out the form. That one doesn't stop you from continuing — it's just a heads-up in case it's actually a duplicate.
"We couldn't match an active [plan name] to [athlete] using [your email]."
You said the athlete is already covered, but nothing in the club's records matched. This is a matching problem, not proof that no membership exists — the membership may be under a different email address, or the athlete's name may be spelled differently on it than on this form.
Check that you used the same email the membership is under, and that the athlete's name matches. If you're confident the membership exists, contact the club rather than buying a second one — they can look it up and confirm. Otherwise select Add membership to purchase one as part of this registration.
"The membership required for this program covers a season that ended on …"
The club's program requires a membership plan whose season is already over, so that membership cannot be purchased today.
Nothing was charged and nothing was created — the registration did not go through, so there is no half-finished record to clean up.
This is a setup problem on the club's side, not something wrong with your details, and you cannot work around it from the form. Contact the club, quote the plan name and date the message shows, and ask them to update the program's membership. It takes them about a minute. Once they have, come back and submit the form again.
The form says my athlete's membership is "awaiting payment"
The club has a membership on file for your athlete that hasn't been paid yet — most often because it was paid by cash or check and hasn't been recorded. You are not charged for it again. Continue your registration; the club will settle the outstanding membership amount with you directly.
"This discount code is no longer valid. Remove it or try a different code."
Your discount code was accepted when you entered it, but stopped being valid by the time you submitted — it may have expired, hit its usage limit, or been deactivated in the few minutes between checking it and finishing the form. Remove it and try a different code, or continue without one.
The total is too small to charge online
If a discount code brings your total to a very small amount (under $0.50) but not all the way to $0, online payment can't process a charge that small. Contact the club directly — they can complete your registration another way.
A generic "Registration failed" error
If you don't get one of the more specific messages above, you'll see a generic failure message. If it keeps happening, contact the club directly with your athlete's name and the program so they can check on it and complete the registration for you if needed.
I paid, then got interrupted before seeing a confirmation
If you completed payment through the Stripe checkout page but something went wrong right after (closed the tab, lost connection, etc.), don't assume the registration didn't go through — check your email for a confirmation first. If nothing arrives after a while, contact the club rather than registering again; filling out the form a second time creates a separate registration attempt rather than confirming the first one.
My athlete isn't eligible for this program
Some programs restrict who can register based on age or grade. If your athlete doesn't meet a program's requirement, you're stopped at the Athlete Info step as soon as you click Continue, with a message naming the limit that wasn't met — for example, "Age 13 is below this program's minimum of 14."
Check the Date of Birth and Grade you entered first; a typo in either is the most common cause. Note that some programs measure age as of a fixed date in the season rather than today, in which case the message says which date was used.
If the details are right and you believe an exception should apply, contact the club directly — this isn't something you can override yourself, but staff can register the athlete on your behalf.
